Deal will combine IDG’s global data publishing power with Triblio’s best-in-class ABM SaaS platform
Boston, Mass. – June 23, 2020 – IDG Communications, Inc. has acquired Triblio in a deal that will accelerate the shift to ready-made, highly automated marketing technology platforms. The combination will spark a new era that brings together account-based marketing (ABM), premium content and 1st party data to deliver unprecedented power, reach and value for technology and business-to-business CMOs.
The agreement will join IDG’s global brand, audience reach and deep experience in publishing, data and research with Triblio’s leading digital ABM platform. Together, the companies will provide the ability for marketers to focus on the accounts that sales departments want to target and influence entire buying groups. Finally, marketing organizations can build innovative campaigns that zero in on desired buying personas, deliver highly relevant content, gain deep insights into buyer behavior and benchmark intent to purchase.
ABM is soaring as marketers look for ways to directly impact revenue through cross-channel campaigns and activate sales through actionable insights. Reston, Virginia-based Triblio’s technology will underpin new IDG tools and services that will help marketers orchestrate sales and marketing activities and see at a glance how programs are delivering value in accounts.
